Calculus is when algebra and trigonometry leaves the nest and gets into trouble and great things.

Okay, I get it now. About the better part of getting into Calculus is getting fluent in algebra and trigonometry. Like someone said somewhere, Calculus is applied algebra. I see that now. By really flexing your algebra, you can do some really neat things*. They are called Calculus.

But I like that, I really respect that about math. It holds you to a standard of knowledge that is so completely absolute.

Such is the hyper reality that is math knowledge. “There is no dilly-dallying here…”. Non-perfect knowledge is just not an option. Isn’t that just beautiful in an untimely timeless fashion?

*) For one, you learn to leverage the process of going to infinity to traverse the dimensions of change (change of change etc.) very precisely and magic-like.
